  6. It's 1 tsp of basil.
  7. It's 4 cup of chicken broth.
  8. It's 1/2 of bay leaf.
  9. You need 1/2 cup of flour.
  10. Prepare 1 cup of parmesan.
  11. You need 1/2 cup of butter.
  12. You need 2 cup of half and half.
  13. You need 1 tsp of salt.
  14. It's 1/4 tsp of black pepper.

Tomato Basil & Parmesan Soup instructions

  1. Put tomatoes, celery, carrots, onions, chicken broth, oregano, basil and bay eaf in slow cooker..
  2. Cover and cook on low for 5 - 7 hours..
  3. 30 minutes before serving prepare a roux. Melt butter over low heat in a skillet and add flour. Stir constantly with a whisk for 5 - 7 minutes. Slowly stir in 1 cup soup. Add another 3 cups hot soup and stir until smooth. Add all back into the slw cooker..
  4. Stir and add the parmesn cheese, warm half and half, salt and pepper..
  5. Add addition basil and oregano as needed..
  6. Cover and cook over low for 30 minutes..
