- Prepare 2 can of whole tomatoes...(they r sealed and peeled; 28oz)... if using fresh from the garden... peel tomatoes and use 20 medium tomatoes..
- Prepare 3 tbsp of dark brown sugar.
- You need 1 large of onion, minced.
- It's 2 tbsp of garlic, minced.
- It's 3 cup of chicken broth... i use homemade broth.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of allspice.
- Prepare 3 tbsp of tomato paste.
- Prepare 1 can of evaporated milk (5oz).
- Prepare 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves... can use 3 TBSP of dried.
- It's 1/2 tsp of salt.
- You need 1/4 tsp of pepper.
- It's 3 stick of celery, minced.
- It's 1 of ******* s&p to taste.
- It's 1 can of diced tomatoes with chili.... drained.

- drain cans of whole tomatoes.. AND RESERVE LIQUID....will need liquid later.... preheat oven to 450°????.
- cover cookie sheet with foil...,spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray. arrange whole tomatoes in single layer. I sprinkle with brown sugar, salt, pepper, minced onions, and sprinkle with garlic powder... cook for about 25-30 minutes... the smell is awesome.... liquid should evaporate and tomatoes begin to color....
- in crockpot you should have tomatoes mixture, and all other spices.... tomatoes with chili....minced celery..EXCEPT EVAPORATED MILK....
- I use my hand held blender once I put them in my crockpot and the reserved liquid.....you will need the liquid to puree... IF YOU DONT HAVE A HAND HELD.. PUT IN BLENDER AND PUREE..
- blend well ..... cover and cook on low for 8 hrs or 4 hrs on high.....
- add EVAPORATED MILK.... and s&p to taste... cook for another hour on high...
